My kind of music 

The project included diskussions, a photo-exhibition and a dance-party with and for people with memory disease. The project was conducted in cooperation with a local dementia support association in Vaasa.

During the summer I dug into different photo archives to find photos from different dances in Vaasa from the 1940-1960. I presented them for the guests at the main event "Musiken vi minns". To the event we invited people with memory disorders and their relatives.  We played and danced to music from the 50´s at The Culture house Fanny in Vaasa 2.9.2017 

The project was part of Finland100 events. After the event the photo-exhibition will tour to different elderly houses in the region.
