I wanted to stimulate discussion, and spread information, about domestic violence. The work consisted of two installations.

“Staying silent won't make a difference” consisted of 63 air-purifying plants including care instruction labels. The text on the labels was written by people who have experienced domestic violence. Insted of plant care instructions, they wrote about how they want to be treated. “Invisible visible”  was an installation consisting of windows where the audience could write messages about domestic violence with an invisible pen. After the exhibition, I sold part of the plants and donated the money to the participating shelters.

The work was shown in the exhibition “Taide(maailma)muuttuu-Konst(världen) förändras” at K.H Renlunds museum in Kokkola (FI).
