THE WOMEN'S PUBLIC BATH HOUSE
Gustavsborg, Vasa (FIN)

In this project, I turned the public bath into an exhibition room. The exhibition took place in the autumn, and consisted of a wall painting of women who use the place in summertime.

I also showed statistics outlining the amount of women use the place, sunny-rainy days, temperatures of water and the weather June-September. I wanted to show the public this unique place and increase the general interest in it. I visited the bath house every day.

The bath house was burnt down in 2007, but the city of Vaasa has re-built an almost exact replica of the old one.
